About PlainlyOps

The experience to see what's really going on — and fix it

PlainlyOps is led by Neil Boyce, an operations and supply chain leader with over 25 years of experience.

I have run global supply chains, operations and compliance teams in retail, consumer electronics and technology businesses. I know what a well-run operation looks like — and I know how it feels when growth outpaces your processes, risks pile up, and the whole thing depends on a few people holding it together. PlainlyOps exists to give SME leaders access to that experience in a simple, flexible way: someone who can come in, see how the business actually works, and help make it run better.

Over the years I've led operations through periods of rapid growth, restructuring, system migrations and new ownership. That breadth matters: most operational problems aren't unique, and having seen how they play out across different industries means I can usually spot the real cause quickly — and know which fixes actually hold up in practice rather than just looking good on paper.
